You Can Now Use Emsculpt For Arms

EMSCULPT FOR ARMS

When it comes to a person’s physique, the way one’s arms look speaks volumes about your fitness. Arms are where people flaunt their muscle tone during the summer. Having flabby arms can make an otherwise flattering outfit turn embarrassing. It can make you look heavier than you really are, and if you’re male, can also lead women to lose interest in you.

Diet and exercise are the most common methods to use when you are trying to attain muscle mass in your arms. Unfortunately, they don’t always work well. At New Jersey Plastic Surgery, we now offer a new treatment that allows you to build muscle using technology. It’s called Emsculpt, and it will make your arms look amazing.

What Is Emsculpt?

Emsculpt is the world’s first non-invasive body sculpting procedure to actually build real muscle in patients. This uses HIFEM™ (High-Intensity Focused Electromagetic) pulses to force your body’s muscles to contract rapidly. The rapid contractions are not the same as the ones you get during exercise.

How Does Emsculpt Work?

Emsculpt is able to deliver results by making your muscles contract quickly over the course of a small period of time. When your arm is exposed to the targeted HIFEM pulses, it will react through small contractions that ripple throughout your arm.

Contracting your muscles takes effort and acts like exercise. Because it’s a different type of muscle contraction pattern than what exercise offers, the pulses encourage your body to build muscle in areas that typically won’t respond to regular exercise.

Why Should I Choose Emsculpt For My Arms?

Most body sculpting procedures either add implants to look like muscle, or remove fat in order to make you appear more toned. Emsculpt does neither; it actually lets you grow your own muscle and gives you real, natural muscle tone!

Because it’s non-invasive, Emsculpt offers a level of safety most other procedures don’t offer. Since the muscle is your own, it also offers up extremely natural results compared to other similar procedures.

What Does An Emsculpt Procedure Behave Like?

Prior to getting Emsculpt, you will need to sit down with a staff member at New Jersey Plastic Surgery for a consultation. They will examine you to ensure that the results you want will be attainable, will explain to you how many sessions you will need, and then schedule each session with you.

When you go in for your Emsculpt procedure, a staff member will place the Emsculpt machine on your arms. No sedation or anesthesia is required, and it can be administered while you sit or lay down in the doctor’s office.

Your doctor will arrive and turn on the Emsculpt machine. The machine will then let out pulses that will make your muscles contract for the next 30 minutes. After the 30 minutes is up, you are able to go back to your daily business.

What Does Emsculpt Feel Like?

Emsculpt is not a painful procedure. Most patients describe the Emsculpt experience to be like a very intense workout. There may be a little soreness, sure, but it’s absolutely bearable. That’s why there’s no need for anesthesia or downtime with Emsculpt.

How Many Sessions Will I Need For My Arms?

Most patients will need a minimum of four Emsculpt sessions in order to see very visible results. Typically, each session will take anywhere from half an hour to an hour. They are spaced out on a weekly to biweekly basis, depending on how much toning up is needed.

When Do I Start To See Results?

Unlike other procedures, the results you get from Emsculpt are going to take time to show up. After your first Emsculpt session, you may start to feel the muscle growing. This is totally normal. Patients get to see the full results about four to six weeks after their first Emsculpt session.

How Much Does Emsculpt Cost?

The cost of Emsculpt varies greatly depending on a variety of factors. Emsculpt typically costs between $750 to $1,000 per session. Since most people require a minimum of four sessions to see results, you can expect your process to cost about $4,000.

Am I A Good Candidate For Emsculpt?

Everyone wants to have beautiful, toned arms, but to get Emsculpt, you need to fit a certain profile. The ideal candidate is a person who:

  • Is in relatively good health
  • Is close to their ideal body weight
  • Has tried to tone up their arms without much luck
  • Is able to book several sessions in a series of weeks
  • Has reasonable expectations of results
